“Murder Ink 2: 16 More Tales of New England Newsroom Crime” will make its debut at the New England Newspaper Convention. “Murder Ink 2” is a collection of pulp fiction by publishers, reporters, editors and novelists. Several of the writers will be on hand to read and sign the book, edited by Dan Szcznesy.

Plaidswede Publishing of Concord, N.H., invited writers throughout New England to submit a murder short story that takes place in or around a newsroom or reporter. “It’s a switch to go from journalism to sensational crime fiction, but our writersalways do a fine job of seeing crime in their everyday work,” says Plaidswede publisher George Geers. ”Murder Ink 1” made its debut at last year’s conference The third and last in this newsroom crime series is planned for early 2018.
