Please join the Society of Professional Journalists of New England on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 7-8 p.m. for a panel discussion, “Boston journalism jobs are available now. Here’s how to get one.” Topics to be covered will include what kinds of skills are most sought-after and best practices for applying for a journalism job. There will be time for questions.
Moderated by Don Seiffert, managing editor of the Boston Business Journal since 2016 and current treasurer of SPJNE.
Panelists are Paula Bouknight assistant managing editor for hiring and development at the Boston Globe, Dan Mauzy, executive editor for News at WBUR and Ben Dobson, VP of News for three of NBCUniversal’s TV channels in Boston.
