William K. Daby, 77, of Smithfield, R.I., died July 13 in his home.
He was a photojournalist for more than 35 years for newspapers in the Midwest and at The Providence (R.I.) Journal. Daby received several awards for excellence in photojournalism.
He leaves his wife, Doris; two stepdaughters, Dawn and Jill; two step-granddaughters, Emma and Anna.
