The deadline to enter NENPA’s 2026 Fall Awards Program is Friday, July 10, and there’s still time to submit your best work from the past year.

From recognizing outstanding reporting and investigative journalism to honoring exceptional editorial writing, community journalism, newsroom excellence, and individual achievement, the Fall Awards Program celebrates the work that informs, inspires, and strengthens communities across New England.

Whether you’re entering your publication for New England Newspaper of the Year, submitting your newsroom’s best reporting or photojournalism for the Publick Occurrences Award, nominating an outstanding journalist, editor, educator, or community leader, recognizing excellence in editorial writing or First Amendment advocacy, or entering investigative work for the A-Mark Prizes, now is the time to gather your entries and take one last look at the outstanding work your newsroom produced over the past year.

Eligible work must have been published between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026.

Below you’ll find all of the awards currently open for entry. We also encourage you to scroll to the bottom of each award page to explore previous winners and see the outstanding journalism and leadership recognized in past years.

Recognition matters. Don’t miss the opportunity to have your work—and the work of your newsroom and colleagues—recognized. If you have any questions about the awards or the entry process, please contact info@nenpa.com.
