Better Newspaper Contest

Promoting excellence in community newspapers is at the heart of the NENPA mission. One way we do it is with our annual Better Newspaper Contest, which has grown to be among the biggest and most respected contests of its kind in the country, drawing more than 6,000 entries in some 60 plus categories including Journalist of the Year and Photographer of the Year. By entering, your newspaper and your hard-working staffers get a shot at winning the recognition they deserve. And a First Place award is a good way of reminding your readers about your commitment to excellence.
